The BBC Children in Need Appeal is a registered charity which provides grants to other charities, community groups and voluntary agencies, to enable the lives and prospects of children and young people living in the U.K. who have suffered hardship, difficulties or disadvantages of some kind,to be positively changed
The Foundation is a grant-giving organisation which concentrates its support on education, the arts, museum and gallery education, cultural leadership training, health and social welfare, whilst placing a particular emphasis on supporting children, young people and society’s more vulnerable individuals.

Jewish Child's Day is a charity which exists to improve the lives of Jewish children in need of special care.It does all it can to make life easier and happier for them, helping them to develop and achieve, and moving them towards fulfilling and purposeful lives.
The Appeal is designed specifically to encourage children to help other children and gives even toddlers the opportunity to get directly involved with raising money for children in need.
