How you can help

Why we need your support

Make a donation on-line

Our services are growing year on year, and we now have 17 young people living in Edgware. Last year (2006), we had 9, and in 2008/9 we expect 6 more young people to join us. Additionally, as the needs of the young people we support get ever more complex, additional funding needs to be found from other sources such as grants and donations.

Parental Contributions

Langdon Foundation wishes to provide life time homes for all graduates of Langdon College, regardless of their financial status, who make the choice to continue to live with us.

We therefore need the help of those families who can afford to support their sons/daughters to cover this shortfall and this is known as the Parental Contribution.

Improving quality of life

Donations are used to purchase properties and make these adaptations so you will have a direct impact on the lives of our young people. Additionally, providing these educational and living opportunities means that you are ensuring that these young men and women do not suffer a lifetime of loneliness, living in isolation and having limited or no interaction with the wider community - this is a truly precious gift.

Langdon relies heavily on donations to purchase and improve the properties it purchases for its residents. Adaptations such as lifts and ramps can cost in excess of £20,000 on top of other purchasing costs.
