Welcome to The Langdon Foundation

Langdon remains an independent charity with its own distinct offering - to support young Jewish adults who have mild to moderate learning difficulties.

The Charity was set up in 1992 by four parents because there were no other organisations that enabled those with similar learning difficulties to live an independent life. At Langdon, 95% of the residents live that independent life.

Today, Langdon currently offers both educational and supported living facilities to over 85 young adults. Langdon College, based in Manchester, provides the only Jewish residential College to those aged 16+ and offers a range of courses from basic life skills, NVQ accreditations, through to university degrees.

Langdon Community has services in London and Manchester, providing a unique network of supported living accommodation that enables young adults to live in their own homes for life. Langdon Community ensures that residents benefit from its' employment programme which boasts 80% of residents being employed.

Everyone enjoys a full and active social life, giving them the same opportunities as their peers. Langdon is unique from other organisations in that its' ethos has not changed - to provide an independent life to those who have to overcome huge hurdles in life, often because their disabilities are invisible.

Your help will support the needs for both the current and the ever growing number of future residents
